This letter shall serve as a positive reference and endorsement of work performed by Koerner Construction at the Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center in 2012. The Mohonk Preserve completed a large renovation of our flagship visitor center in Gardiner, NY. Mr. Koerner was pre-qualified as our general contractor due to positive references from a facility that neighbor ours. Koerner Construction completed a fairly complex renovation of our visitor center, which included site work, electrical, carpentry, millwork, HVAC, flooring, glazing, and interpretive subcontracts. The work occurred in a visitor center which is visited by fifty thousand folks annually, and serves as office space for 25 staff. Koerner Construction brought the project in on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption, to visitors and staff, all of whom were able to visit and work while construction occurred. Dale Koerner managed his staff, and his subcontractors well, and they were a cohesive team. All aspects of communication with Mr. Koerner, the designers and engineers and our owner’s representative worked well.
