We found Koerner through a fireplace store, after we'd spent months spinning our wheels looking for someone with the expertise necessary to help us install a new gas unit on an old brick hearth. Kristy was quick to respond and step us through what we'd need to decide and then to get us an estimate for both that and a bathroom reno we were also looking to do. Fast forward a few months, and we have a new tub, vanity, tile floor, and closet we're thrilled with in the bathroom, and a working gas fireplace surrounded by wood and tile trim, some custom floating shelves, and a freshly painted hearth. Kristy was extremely helpful and responsive throughout, and her crew, led by Darryl and Duane, did excellent work. They gave us important are-you-sure check-ins on a few choices, dealt with the house's quirks, and made a couple of requested adjustments when the work was complete, no sweat. The price for everything was fair, and Kristy was great about letting us know why things cost what they cost when we asked.
